Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on 2 December 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model best known for her roles in film and TV series. Brandt began her acting career in her role in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Following that, she landed her first American performance as Naevia in Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. In the last decade the actress has been featured in numerous TV shows including the likes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt has been playing the role in the role of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born at Cape Town South Africa. As she was in her teens, she moved to Auckland New Zealand along with her parents and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career through ads and commercials. Prior to her rise to recognition as a model, she was employed in sales at retail as well as being an IT recruitment consultant. The first time she was featured, she landed her part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she took on the role as Leilani Fa'auigaese. Her first major appearance came in 2021, when she appeared as the part of a slave woman Naevia on the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She has as well reprised her Naevia role in the mini-series that prequels Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series that included Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) as well as Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen started her new role as a bounty hunting demon in the Netflix smash hit Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. She co-stars on the show alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
